How to Get Free Avatar Items in Roblox
Want to get free stuff for your Roblox avatar? In this guide, I’ll show you exactly where to find free clothing, accessories, and more using the Roblox Avatar Editor and Marketplace.

Step 1: Open the Avatar Editor
Start by going to the Avatar section inside Roblox. Click on Avatar to open the editor where you can customize your character.
Step 2: Check the Free Clothing Categories
At the top of the Avatar Editor, select Clothing, then explore these free categories:
- Classic Shirts
- Classic Pants
- Classic T-Shirts
You’ll find several free shirts and pants available by default. Many free T-shirts are also available, including some created by the community.
Step 3: Search the Marketplace for Free Items
To find even more free items, click Get More to open the Roblox Marketplace.
In the search bar, type free and filter the results to show only free items. This will display a long list of free avatar content such as:
- Faces and emojis
- Animation packages
- Shirts, pants, and jackets
- Shoes and accessories
- Free character heads
Most free uploads are T-shirts because they are easy for creators to make, so you’ll find a huge variety by scrolling through the list.
Step 4: Claim a Free Item
To get a free item:
- Click the item’s image in the Marketplace.
- Confirm that the price shows Free.
- Click Buy or Get Now.
- The item will instantly appear in your inventory.
You can then return to the Avatar Editor and equip the item to your character.
