Getting Started with the Avatar Editor
To begin, open the Roblox desktop app (this is the best place for full customization). If you haven’t installed Roblox yet, use my setup walkthrough here:
Download Roblox Player in 2026 (Full Setup).
- Click on the Avatar button
- You’ll now see your character on screen
Basic Camera Controls
- Scroll wheel → Zoom in and out
- Left-click + drag → Rotate your character
